Ibrahim, age 64, is married with 14 children. He runs a small general store and also has a garden where he grows vegetables which he sells at his shop. He started this business 10 years ago and currently makes about $40 a month from his sales. He works from 7am to 4pm daily.

In the past, he took four loans to expand his business and was able to pay these back successfully. With the loans, he purchased a plot of land and bought his garden. He also used the loan toward house expenses and school fees for his children. Ibrahim now hopes for a new loan to buy more stock for his shop and to use some of the money for building a new house.

Ibrahim will share this loan with his subgroup, whose members have businesses in clothing and general store sales.

The General store and vegetables are really selling! Entrepreneur: Ibrahim's Juhudi Group Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania Ibrahim Mohamed and hissubgroup have completed their loan term and have successfully paid back the loan and the general store and vegetable businesses are going on well. With the loan he syocked his store and purchased netralizer for the vegetable. Because of these purchases his monthly profit has increased from $40 to $80! He is very happy about this increase and it will help him pay for his family needs and education. He and his group appreciate the opportunity for the loan and thank you for your support and encouragement.
