Kouk Kem Entrepreneur: Kouk Kem Location: Pon-nhea Leu District, Cambodia Mr. Kem Kouk has been selling cows and oxen for two year. In March, 2008 he requested a loan of $500 to buy more cow to sell. Before he was funded from loan, Kouk didn’t have enough money to buy cows or oxen to meet the market demand and in a month he generated about $500 to $800 revenues from selling cows or oxen and the net profit were 15% to 20% of the revenues. But, now Kouch makes revenues from $800 to $1,000 a month. So, he is able to increase the income as well. Kouk uses the income to support the household expenditures and he could save one part to reinvest in the business.
