Budumuli East C B Group

The group leader of this small group is Cissy Mukyala. She is currently in the business of running a bar and is requesting a loan to open up another bar in a different location. Cissy is 42 years old and is married with a husband who is a teacher for work. She has 5 children ranging from age 6 to 18 and her children go to school. Each week, Cissy makes approximately UGX 100000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to save for future use. Cissy has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before in the amount of UGX 300000 in order to add more stock to her bar and the loan was paid back on time. Cissy is joined in her small group by Jamawa Nakagola, Aminah Namuwaya and Rose Lubale . Jamawa Nakagola has a business selling produce and wants to purchase more sacks of produce. Aminah Namuwaya is currently operating a business selling millet and wants a loan to start a video recording business. Rose Lubale sells millet and wants to boost business with the loan.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
