Update on Mahbuba Khasanova's Loan Entrepreneur: Mahbuba Khasanova Location: Dushanbe, Tajikistan Mahbuba sells traditional Tajik clothing in an outdoor stand at the Dushanbe market. She used her Kiva loan to purchase more fabric, which she then has sewn by another craftsperson. She started this business 9 years ago, after working in a shoe factory for many years. After she and her husband divorced, Mahbuba became the sole provider for her four children. Each month, she puts part of her profits back into the business and hopes that she will gradually be able to increase her inventory.
