She grows vegetables throughout the year. She has a water well in the middle of the farm where she gets water for watering the vegetables. She grows cabbages, green leafy lettuce, onions, tomatoes and hot peppers. With her previous loan from SMT, she began growing irish potatoes and paid back her loan from other farming produce. Isata also grows pigeon peas and some rice. With all the farm activities, she needs to work hard from sun rise to sun set.
She thinks that, if she can access a loan of $1200, she could hire laborers and purchase fertilizer and more vegetable seeds to increase her production for better profits.
