Mirna is a small merchant. She sells a variety of clothing, lingerie and cosmetics in the streets. She is a 53 year old single mother with 2 children, both now grown. She lives in the housing development Laureles Norte, a semi-rural, poor neighborhood where basic services such as water and, often, electricity scarcely exist. This mother launched her business more than 20 years ago, which allowed her to moved her children and family ahead, despite the difficult economic situation in which she found herself.

At the moment Mirna lives with her daughter who helps her with the household errands and in the business: The have both worked at marketing the products and they have a good number of steady clients. Mirna sells on credit and currently she is expanding her offer to include shoes for men and women. With the support that she receives from her daughter this mother has been constructing her home. Her wish is to set up a store in her home so that she wiil no longer have to walk through the streets offering her products; she is afraid she may be robbed. At the moment she needs a loan to buy children's clothing and also women's lingerie, one of the products that sells most rapidly.

Doña Mirna es una pequeña comerciante, se dedica a vender ropa variada, ropa interior y cosméticos de manera ambulante, tiene 52 años de edad, es madre soltera, tiene 2 hijos, ambos son mayores de edad, habita en el asentamiento “Laureles Norte”, este es un barrio semi-rural, pobre, existe escasez de algunos servicios básicos como el agua y muchas veces luz. Esta madre emprendió su negocio hace más de 20 años, el cual le permitió sacar adelante a sus hijos, pese a la difícil situación económica en la que se encontraba.



En estos momentos vive con su hija la cual le ayuda en los quehaceres del hogar y le apoya en el negocio, ambas se han dedicado a comercializar los productos, cuentan con un buen número de clientes fijos, vende al crédito y actualmente se esta expandiendo ya que esta ofreciendo zapatos para dama y caballeros. Con la remesa que recibe de su hijo esta madre ha ido levantando su vivienda. El deseo de la señora es el de montar una tienda en su vivienda para ya no andar en la calle ofreciendo sus productos, ya que teme que le roben. En estos momentos necesita un préstamo para comprar ropa para niños y ropa interior para dama, ya que es una de las cosas que más rápido se venden.
