La Hoyada 23 de marzo is the name of an association of 17 women who carry out many activities in order to survive. It is a great sacrifice, but is the only way in which to earn a living and to meet the demands of being the mother of a family.

Bread, crafts, textiles, knitting, socks, perfumes and baby clothes and toys are some of the the products on offer, sold by walking around in markets and squares in the city of El Alto.

They all work every season of the year, and this is why this group would like capital to invest in their businesses so that they can vary and increase their wares by satisfying the current demand, and thereby earning the money they so desperately need.
