Greetings from Tanzania! Thank you for supporting subgroup D of the Kazi za Jamii group. The woman who was originally interviewed for the business profile is resting at home because she is pregnant. Therefore, we were unable to speak with her. But we did speak with another member of the subgroup.

Amina owns a small food store where she sells items such as sugar, tea, bread, etc. She used the loan to increase the stock of her shop and expand on the variety of items she offers. Before the loan, she was earning a monthly profit of about $214. With the increased stock, she is now earning about $428 per month! She has been using the additional profits to pay school fees for her two children, to buy food for her family and to purchase other things they need in the house. Amina and subgroup D of the Kazi za Jamii group are very grateful for the loan and are thankful to everyone who has supported them.
