Aneesa Bibi's Group

My name is Aneesa Bibi and I have five children, three sons and two daughters. All of my children are under the age of 15; three attend a local school and two are not yet of school age. I am a textile artist and create embroidered dresses that are embellished with sequins and beads. My brother sells these outfits at his shop in Karachi, a big city in Pakistan. I need to increase my income by expanding my business. With the increased profits I hope to make, I plan to renovate my house and save for my children's future. The other members of my group who need loans are: Humaira Bibi, who is borrowing for her husband's TV cable agency. Jameela Bibi plans to invest her share of this loan in her family’s paper business. Khailda Bibi runs a boutique. Rashida Bibi embroiders and makes clothing on order. This is a group loan and we are all responsible for repaying it.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
