Celia Benitez

Celia Benítez de Silva is a 45 year old mother of four children and has been married to her husband Justo for 20 years. In order to provide income for her family, Celia has worked on the street as a newspaper vendor. She works on a very important avenue in the city where she lives. In order to increase her profits, she began working with Fundación Paraguaya to buy new goods.

Now Celia is making more income selling fruits along with her newspapers. With the initial loan from the Fundación, she was able to invest in fruits and newspapers toprovide to people who walk or drive along the busy avenues where she works. The loan she is asking for today will be used to invest more money into fresh local fruits including watermelon, plums, apples and bananas to sell.
