Katebo business group is doing very well and are willing to continue getting loans as long as they improve their standards of living unlike before getting loans. Its leader, Nakitende Juliet, is very supportive and encourages her colleagues to work hard to be able to repay back the loans as they save. Since they got a loan, the season has been favorable for her because of the rains in addition to the fertile soils since they stay not far away from the lake. Out of her banana plantation, she has sold to the business traders in Buwama and surrounding markets and this helped her to employ people to dig up a potato plantation that will soon be ready as she already got market for it. In such villages, it is vital for a homestead to have animals to keep because there is enough land to graze as well as the feeds for proper growth and because of this fact; Nakitende was able to buy more pigs as was her plan for the loan.
