The group leader of this small group is Agnes Nakawunde. She owns a salon and is requesting a loan to purchase more salon equipment. Agnes is 35 years old and is divorced. She has 2 children aged 10 and 12 and her children go to school. Each week, Agnes makes approximately UGX 30000 in profits and with the increased profits from her loan, she hopes to buy a piece of land. Agnes has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before to invest in her business and the loan was paid back on time. Agnes is joined in her small group by Mastula Wanyeze, Eve Nakabugo, Odaru Sebana, and Margret Nalunkuma. Mastula Wanyeze has a business in charcoal sales and wants to increase stock. Eve Nakabugo is currently operating a business in stone quarrying and wants a loan to invest in business. Odaru Sebana operates a business of arts and crafts and wants to expand. Margret Nalunkuma is currently in stone quarrying and is requesting a loan to rent more land to expand business.
