Banda B7 D Group

The group leader of this small group is Agnes Koburungi. She owns a retail shop and is requesting a loan to increase inventory. Agnes is 40 years old and is divorced. She has 3 children ranging from age 11 to 15 and her children go to school. Each week, Agnes makes approximately UGX 40000 in profits and with the increased profits from her loan, she hopes to buy a piece of land Agnes has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before to invest in her business and the loan was paid back on time. Agnes is joined in her small group by Gloria Namugere, Betty Nabulumbi, Aisha Nakafero, and Bhamisi Nakazzi. Gloria Namugere has a business in arts and craffs and wants to expand business. Betty Nabulumbi is currently operating a business in livestock farming and wants a loan to expand her piggery business. Aisha Nakafero operates a business of clothing sales and wants to add inventory. Bhamisi Nakazzi is currently in the business of used clothing and is requesting a loan to increase stock.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
