Banda B7 B Group

The group leader of this small group is Cissy Kisakye. She is currently a tailor and is requesting a loan to buy another sewing machine. Cissy is 35 years old and is married. She has 4 children ranging from age 6 to 14 and her children go to school. Each week, Cissy makes approximately UGX 100000 in profits and with the increased profits from her loan, she hopes to buy a plot of land Cissy has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before to invest in her business and the loan was paid back on time. Cissy is joined in her small group by Rose Namirimu, Kizza Annet, Scovia Mbazira, and Shamim Mulisa. Rose Namirimu is also a tailor and wants to add in business. Kizza Annet is a tailor a wants to buy more cloth materials and expand business. Scovia Mbazira operates a bar and wants to expand her business. Shamim Mulisa owns a salon and is requesting a loan to buy more salon equipment.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
