Lidia, Delia, and Yesica are part of the Cielo community bank. Lidia has been a member for one year while Delia and Yesica joined four months ago. In the community bank they have learned to be responsible, punctual, and to save. They have also learned how to avoid sickness, avoid domestic violence, and how to use contraceptives. They mentioned that they really like their bank organizer, who is dynamic and happy.


Lidia is 25 years old. She lives with her partner and three year old daughter. Lidia has been raising cattle for two years. She raises her cattle in the town of Sacsmarca in the district of Huascahura. In addition, during the week, Lidia travels to different markets buying fruits, vegetables and grains and then selling them in the city of Ayacuho.


Delia is 27 years old. She lives with her partner and two young children. By profession she is a teacher but currently is running a business selling cosmetics. She has been selling cosmetics to her friends and families for one and a half years.


Meanwhile, Yesica is 30 years old. She also lives with her partner and two young children. Yesica transports clothing from the city of Lima and then sells it to friends, families, and different institutions. Together with her husband, Yesica travels to the city of Andahuaylas to buy different grains and then sells them in Ayacucho. She learned this business from her in-laws.


Lidia, Delia, and Yesica need loans of 200, 400, and 400 soles (3 soles = $1), which they will use to buy pork, colognes, perfumes, cosmetics, pants, and shirts.

Lidia, Yesika y Delia pertenecen al Banco Comunal Cielo.

Lidia es conviviente, tiene 27 años y 1 hija, Lidia se dedica a la crianza de animales menores en su pueblo de Huascahura con la ayuda de su mama, sus ventas lo realiza en el mercado de las Américas, sus ventas mejoraron por la demanda y los precios fueron más altos. Lidia obtuvo un préstamo de 200 soles, dinero que fue invertido en la compra de 1 cerdo a 200 soles.

Por otro lado Yesika es conviviente, tiene30 años y 2 hijos, Yesika vende ropa que reparte a amigos, familiares e instituciones, sus ventas son al crédito, Yesika busca constantemente nuevos clientes y en los últimos meses sus ventas mejoraron. Yesika obtuvo un préstamo de 400 soles, dinero que fue invertido en la compra de pantalones a 20 soles cada uno y polos a 13 soles cada uno.

Mientras que Delia no termino de pagar su deuda y se retiro de su Banco Comunal.
