When he noticed the necessities faced by his family due to the lack of a steady and insufficient income, one year ago, Roberto, with the hlep of a his brother, that works in the same trade, started to make and sell leather products, such as wallets, keychains, mug holders etc. This is in the city of Escobedo, in the State of Neuvo Leon. Al darse cuenta de las necesidades que enfrentaba su familia tras la falta de ingresos seguros y suficientes, hace un año, Roberto, con la ayuda y capacitación de su hermano, quien se dedica a lo mismo, inició la fabricación y venta de productos de piel como; carteras, llaveros, porta tarros, etc. Esto en la localidad de Escobedo, en el Estado de Nuevo León. Con ésta actividad Roberto ha logrado asegurar el sustento diario de su familia y brindarles la educación que requieren sus hijos.
