Señora Brígida belongs to the communal bank called 'Las Aguilas' located in the district of Calleria in Ucayali. She is 50 years old and a mother of 4 children who are all independent but they still help her financially. She's married and her husband is a retired teacher. With the first loan she obtained from Manuela Ramos, she decided to open up some type of examination room that she runs from home to administer first aid assistance.

She provides services for external use only such as general treatments and injections. She gets up about 6 in the morning to prepare breakfast for her husband, and she then takes care of her patients.

With this loan, which she will repay within 5 months, she will purchase alcohol, gauzes, disposable needles, cotton, lotions for bug bites and lotions for severe burns, medical tape, etc.

Brigida is very happy of all her achievements. She has made one of her biggest dream come true and that is to have her own examination room where she can help others. She wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of Manuela Ramos whom she thanks very much.
