A committee of seventeen women neighbors has formed in the city of Villa Elisa, and together they are asking for a loan to help support their individual businesses. The name of their organization is United Hands, and together they are a solidified, confident group of women who are working together to improve their lives and the livelihood of their families.

The committee has worked very well in the neighborhood and all the women meet weekly to discuss their businesses, and share the responsibility of paying back loans. On various occasions, they have put on joint activities for their families, and are friends and not just business members. However, they also solve problems together, everyone has a say in the group, and they always make decisions based on the good of the majority.

These mothers and businesswomen are asking for a loan in order to increase their supply of goods to be sold. They all wish to increase the size of their businesses, whether it is in the area of clothes, meat, groceries or sweets.
