Floripe Pinedo Ahuanari

Mrs. Floripe belongs to the communal bank Nuevo Edén, located at 7 Jr.
Dos de Mayo MZ A Lt, in the district of Yarina Cocha, in the neighborhood
of Ucayali. She is 38 years old and the mother of 4 children. All of her
children are minors. Her husband works as a mechanic. Her last loan was
for 300 Peruvian Soles from Manuela Ramos. She has decided to invest in
a sort of table that she could display and sell her products from. The
products that she sells are candies and snack food.

Right now she works full-time selling candy and snack food. Everyday she
wakes up at 6:00 am to make breakfast for all 4 of her children and for
her husband. And after that she goes to the market to purchase the
supplies that she needs. In the afternoon she starts selling her
merchandise on her sidewalk outside of her house.

With the loan of 1,500 Peruvian Soles, which will be repaid back in 5
months, she will buy 1 package of cigarettes 1 package of candies, 1
package of gum, 1 package of cookies, 1 package of chocolate, and some
other items that she can sell.

Floripe is very happy because she is economically independent now and she
doesn’t have be asking her husband for money because she has enough money
to buy what she needs and she can help support her family.

La señora Floripe pertenece al banco comunal Nuevo Edén, ubicado en el Jr. Dos de Mayo Mz A Lt 7, distrito de Yarina Cocha, departamento de Ucayali. Tiene 38 años, es madre de 4 hijos, todos menores de edad, es casada y su esposo es mecánico. Con el primer préstamo de S/. 300 que recibió de Manuela Ramos decide invertir en un pequeño tablero para la venta de diversas golosinas.

En la actualidad se dedica a la venta de diversas golosinas. A diario se levanta a las 6 a.m. para hacer el desayuno de sus hijos y el de su esposo, luego va al mercado a comprar sus productos que le faltan y en las tardes sale a vender sus golosinas en la vereda de su casa.

Con el préstamo de S/. 1,500, el cual pagará en 5 meses, invertirá en la compra de 1 paquete de cigarros, 1 paquete de caramelos, 1 paquete de chicles, 1 paquete de galletas, 1 paquetes de chocolates, etc.

Floripe se siente muy bien porque es independiente económicamente ya que no tiene que estar pidiendo a su esposo para comprar algunas cosas que ella necesita y puede apoyar a su familia.
