Julia Zavaleta Flores

Ms. Julia is 49 years old, she only did the first three years of elementary school. She lives with her two children in the district of Mache, province of Otuzco, department La Libertad. She buys small animals such as guinea pigs, hens, pigs and rams, which she fattens and then she sells them in a fair that opens its doors on Sundays in the city of Julcán. She also sows wheat, barley, corn and swallows and the little that she harvests she sells it or sometimes she uses it for her own consumption. Ms. Julia belongs to the communal bank "Women of Mache", where she obtained the first loan of $100, with this money bought animals, sacks of balanced food and alfalfa. With the loan of $425, which she will repay in 4 months, she will buy 8 hens, 10 guinea pigs and 3 rams and balanced food for these animals. Ms. Julia Zavaleta’s wish is to have a grocery store at home.

La señora Julia tiene 49 años de edad, estudió hasta el tercer año de primaria. Vive en el distrito de Mache, provincia de Otuzco, departamento La Libertad, con sus dos hijos que aún dependen de ella. Ella compra animales menores (cuyes, gallinas, cerdos y carneros), los cuales los engorda por un tiempo y los vende en una feria que abre sus puertas los días domingos en Julcán, asimismo se dedica a sembrar trigo, cebada, maíz y papa y lo poco que cosecha aprovecha en venderlo o en ocasiones le sirve para su consumo. La señora Julia pertenece al banco comunal “Mujeres de Mache”, aquí obtuvo un primer préstamo S/. 300.00, con este dinero compró animales, sacos de alimento balanceado y alfalfa. Con el préstamo de S/.1,200.00, el cual pagará en 4, comprará 8 gallinas, 10 cuyes y 3 carneros y algo de alimento balanceado para estos animales. El sueño que tiene la señora Julia Zavaleta es poner una tienda surtida en su domicilio.
