This group has been together for six months. Betty is 37 years old and divorced with four children. Her current business is selling fish. Betty wants to buy a piece of land with the extra business profits. Damalie lays bricks for a living. Cathy has a canteen business and wants to use the loan to add to her stock. Annet sells charcoal and wants to expand her business while Janet Jennifer has a retail shop and intends to increase the stock of goods in it.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
