I am a widow Khursheed Anwar. I am a mother of three boys and two girls. None of my kids could attend school due to the death of their father. After his death we have faced very poor financial conditions. Last year, I bought a cow by obtaining a credit from Asasah, a microfinance institution. At present, I request another loan to buy an additional cow. I request loans for few of the other women: Fozia Bibi and Sughran Bibi request loans to buy cows. Riaz Bibi would like to get a new cabin for their rickshaw which is used by passengers to sit. Soba Bibi would use the loan to buy goats for the business.

She worked hard to take out her family from the grieving feeling and she somewhere achieved good result. But as we all know that husband’s death and to spend a widow life is very painful. She keeps herself busy in her dairy business. Her kids also help her in getting milk from the buffalo and also in selling of milk to the milk shops. With the loan she received she purchased another dairy cow and her family increased the selling of their dairy business. As a result, their monthly profit rose to 8,000 PKRs which allow them to save for constructing their house. They are very happy to receive a loan from you all. They hope that you will continue to support their fellow asasah associates on kiva.
