Gombila has a sewing shop at the Sideci Market in the Yopougon District of Abidjan. It’s a small shop, and he works alone. He makes women’s dresses, as well as shirts and pants for men. His most recent loan with AE&I was for 25,000 CFA, which he repaid over a period of two months. He used the loan to purchase zippers, thread, buttons, and other sewing materials. He plans to take another loan in the summer when it’s fashion season, and he gets many orders!
