"Banco Comunal Morenita Huamanga" got started 2 years ago. Today there are 26 members who have been together for 8 cycles. Their founders were Hilda, Luisa, Isabel and Victoria.


The members say: "in our bank we have a great time and we learn a lot through conferences". They also say they have learned a lot about values, diseases and the importance of saving money.


Members do a wide variete of jobs such as selling chickens, natural products, food, canned goods, cheeses and dairy products. They also offer taxi services, custom made jewelry, local clothing, jewelry and other services.


Each member has a story, such as the case of Rosalia who got her small business started with just two pieces of furniture. She currently has a multiservice store where she offers lots of services and has lots of customers.


Olga and her husband have a workshop where they make custom made jewelry. At the beginning they only had two machines and slowly but surely began to increase; they currently supply uniforms to various institution. Very soon they will be opening a store in which they will be selling fabrics.


The members need different amounts of loans for many different reasons. Some need 200 soles, 400 soles, 600 soles, etc. The grand total of their loan is 12200 soles through Banco Comunal.


The loan will be used to purchase milk, bread, chocolates, toys, wool, threads, firewood, and gold for the opening of a new store. They will also change the furniture in their new store and to repair their taxicab. The savings will be used to gain their own capital, purchase land, build their own house and provide an education to their children.


Their dream is to have a minimarket, have their own home, own business, a restaurant chain and that their children become professionals.

El Banco Comunal Morenita Huamanga se inició hace 2 años. Actualmente son 26 socias y ya tienen 8 ciclos juntas. Las socias fundadoras fueron Hilda, Luisa, Isabel, Victoria.
Las socias mencionan “en nuestro Banco Comunal la pasamos bonito y aprendemos mucho en las charlas”, y dicen que han aprendido acerca de los valores, de las enfermedades y a ahorrar.
Las socias realizan diferentes negocios como la venta de pollo, productos naturales, comida, abarrotes, quesos y lácteos, también brindan servicios de taxi, confección de prendas de vestir de alta costura, artesanía en telar, joyería y Multiservicios.
Cada socia tiene una historia que contar, como es el caso de Rosalía, quien inició su negocio con una tienda pequeña con tan solo 2 muebles, y actualmente tiene un Multiservicios donde ofrece productos variados y tiene muchos clientes.
Por otro lado Olga y su esposo tienen un taller de confección de prendas de vestir. Al inicio ellos solo tenían 2 máquinas y poco a poco fueron creciendo y, actualmente, elaboran uniformes para diferentes instituciones. Próximamente implementarán una tienda para la venta de telas.
Las socias necesitan diferentes montos de préstamos, algunos montos son de 200 soles, 400 soles, 600 soles, haciendo un total de 12200 soles de préstamos en el Banco Comunal.
Los préstamos lo invertirán en la compra de leche, panetón, chocolates, juguetes, lanas, hilos, leña, oro, para la implementación de una nueva tienda de telas, cambio de muebles de su restaurante y para la reparación de su taxi.
Los ahorros los utilizarán para tener un capital propio, comprar un terreno, construcción de casa y para la educación de sus hijos.
Los sueños de las socias son tener un minimarket, tener casa propia, negocio propio, una cadena de restaurante y que sus hijos sean profesionales.

El Banco Morenita Hga tiene 8 ciclos y 26 socias, durante este ciclo las socias pudieron ahorrar más y también aprendieron temas de importancia.

Durante los 4 meses sus negocios en algunos casos mejoraron, en otros se mantuvieron y en otras bajaron por la coyuntura del país.

Las socias tienen diferentes negocios como venta de flores, artesanía, ropa, comida, cosméticos, abarrotes, joyería, multiservicios, confección de prendas de vestir y preparación de jugos.

Las socias obtuvieron diferente montos de préstamos de 200 soles, 400 soles, 600 soles haciendo un total de 12200 soles que invirtieron en sus negocios.

Sus préstamos fueron invertidos en la compra de oro, telas, hilos, azúcar, arroz, leche, panteón, entre otros productos para su negocio.

Rosalía es la presidenta del Banco Comunal y hace 3 meses compró 2 teléfonos públicos que le generará mayores ganancias.

Por otro lado Olga se retiró del Banco Comunal porque no tiene tiempo suficiente para asistir a las reuniones.

Mientras que Valentina vende flores en el mercado Magdalena y con el préstamo que obtuvo compró mas variedad de flores lo que generó mayores ventas.

Las socias mencionan que el préstamo que obtuvieron les ayudo mucho en sus negocios.
