Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Mohamad Hamoud by Al Majmoua- Lebanese Association for Dev in Lebanon. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 12 months, Al Majmoua- Lebanese Association for Dev will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Mohamad’s chicken restaurant has been doing great. His loan, disbursed by Lebanese MFI Al Majmoua, Lebanese Association for Development and supported by you Kiva lenders, has been repaid. Mohamad has been working with Al Majmoua, Lebanese Association for Development for nearly six years now. With the loan capital Mohamad was able to improbe his restaurant and pay his children school tuition. His business is steady as all of Mohamad’s friends and neighbors know him well and feel comfortable eating in his restaurant. He plans on taking out a new loan upon its repayment.

Mohamad is married and eleven children. He is able to supplement her family’s income. When we asked Mohamad what his plans were for the future, he said that he would like to continue improving his business. Mohamad is confident that her experience managing her shop will help her be successful in her future endeavors, and she is grateful for the opportunity to work with Kiva and Al Majmoua.
