known as solidarity lending, is a mechanism that allows a number of

Entrepreneur: Salome Wangari
Location: Ole Roimen, Kajiado, Kenya

Salome owns three businesses which include rental rooms, grocery and a Kerosene pump. She received a loan of USD.700. Before receiving her loan, she had started renovating her rental rooms and wanted to relly give them a face lift such that they attract customers.

Therefore, she was to continue with the work. The rooms that were deserted due to poor conditions are now ready and some are now being occupied. She is now charging the market rate of USD.30 per month, the rental rooms have increased and so is her income.
