Yun Yoeun

Yun Yoeun is lives in Siem Reap with her family and makes a living by growing and selling flowers. Although it was previously reported that she had four children, at our last visit we discovered that she is the mother of seven! Two of her children are married, two are students, and three are too young to attend school.

Yun Yoeun first learned of CREDIT through Credit officers who were introducing the microfinance institution to villagers in her area. Since then, she has used her loan to buy a water pump and fertilizer for her flower business. Before these enhancements she earned approximately $3 per day, but now she is able to make up to double at $6 a day. She is able to invest that money towards her children’s education and for raising them in the future.
