Mrs.Rano Usmonova is engaged in the commercial service and trade of eggs. She applied to the MicroInvest for the financial support and thanks to the KIVA she could take the business development loan. She improved the business terms significantly and realized the loan purpose that permits her to increase the business turnover and to plan the further actions on business development. Mrs. Rano Usmonova executes the loan repayment terms without any delays. She thanks KIVA for its support and makes her best not to disappoint lenders.

Selling eggs everyday at the bustling Panjshanbe Market in the center of Khujand, Rano Usmanova has no easy job. Although her profit margin is quit small, she tells me that she has been able to improve her business significantly with the help of her Kiva loan. She bought an additional 2100 eggs from a factory in the nearby city of Yova for which she paid a total of 450 Somoni (around $130). She tells me that her loan has enabled her to get out of debt and to pay for her daughter’s wedding which took place in December. Her working capital has doubled and she says that she is now saving up to buy a new apartment in the center of the city, and hopes that this long held dream of hers will soon be realized. She wants to express her heartfelt gratitude to all those Kiva lenders who have been so generous in the help that they have given her.
