Nich Siv

Nich Siv took out a loan of US$1200 to purchase wood and carpentry tools for her husband's business. She has been pleased with her investment and has seen her income increase as a result of these purchases. The main tool she was able to purchase is a sawing machine that has been a great asset to the business. Together with her husband, Nich Siv can typically make US$10 each day. She has been able to continue expanding her husband's business through purchasing more wood with the increased profits as well as providing for her family. She has used some of the extra funds to increase the amount of food for her family and also to provide for her children's education which costs $0.50-$0.75 per day.

Nich Siv first heard about CREDIT through a promotion in her village and a loan officer introduced her to the variety of products available. She appreciated the low interest rate and long loan term that CREDIT provides and decided to take out her first loan. She had previously borrowed money from a private lender prior to taking out a loan from CREDIT, but the high interest rates made repayment difficult.

In the future, Nich Siv would like to expand her husband's business and purchase more tools. She expects that she will take out another loan after this one is fully repaid to make some of these purchases as well.
