Journal Update.

Entrepreneur: Khat Sophal
Location: Prey Veng Province, Cambodia

Mrs. Khat Sophal is a widow who lives with six of her children. She was requesting a loan of $400 aimed to expand her fruits inventory, but changed when she received the money. Instead, she decided that it would be more profitable for her to purchase a motorbike to transport fruits from market to home and keep it as a delivery service when her fruits are order. The reason that she did not use the loan into the right purpose due to high public transportation cost she spend daily and the significant decrease of buying. She can not increase the number of selling fruits as currently there are problems with the financial crisis. The inflation forces the majority people spend less money. She said she needs to wait and see the financial situation. She will diversify her products when she thinks the number of buying is increase.

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness toward Khat Sophal and her family. CREDIT appreciates your help and looks forward to partnering with you again in the future to continue to provide quality financial services to Cambodia's poor entrepreneurs.
