Journal Update

Entrepreneur: Kim Lenn
Location: Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia

Kim Lenn requested a loan of US$600 to purchase more grocery items to expand her inventory and diversify her options available to her customers. She has seen her income increase up to US$5 per day with this loan and has been pleased to see the benefits it provides for her business. She has seen her customer base grow and the family enjoys having some extra profits to both continue expanding the business and also help to increase their food consumption.

Kim Lenn had taken out a loan from another microfinance institution prior to borrowing from CREDIT, but a promotion in her village attracted her to the low interest rate and quality service that CREDIT provides. She has appreciated the friendly financial assistance that she has received and is currently having few problems repaying her loan on time each month.

In the future, Kim Lenn would like to continue expanding her business and may take out another loan to increase her inventory. She will reevaluate her situation after this loan has been fully repaid.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards Kim Lenn and her family. CREDIT has appreciated partnering with you to help Cambodia's poor entrepreneurs and looks forward to building on this relationship in the future.
