Ma Nghor

Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Ma Nghor by CREDIT MFI -- World Relief in Cambodia. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 12 months, CREDIT MFI -- World Relief will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

This is a big thanks to Kiva lender John Jameson who came to CREDIT MFI in Phnom Penh to visit us today! He got a chance to meet CREDIT's Kiva coordinators, Sopheap and Vichet, who work very hard to get new loans and your journal updates posted. They are assisted by Kiva Fellow Isadora and myself, with help from volunteer Josh. You can expect to receive an email update on your client towards the end of their loan term so the full measure of the loan's impact on the borrowers can be recorded.

John, we appreciate your support of CREDIT's clients and are glad you came by to introduce yourself. If any of our lenders find themselves in Cambodia, we'd love for you to say hello and see our operations for yourselves!

Ma Nghor took out a loan of $600 to expand her business by adding more utensils and repair her shop. Before, her shop was small and has not enough equipment to run business. But since she loan from Credit, she is able to purchase more chairs, tables, utensils and increase the number of selling rice and foods. So far, she has a bigger shop which is no longer worry about the space for her clients. She has been very pleased with the results of her investment and can see her business growing forward. The income has been increased and with this money she is able to push her business and save for her children’s education. She has no problems paying a loan back to Credit MFI.
