Shahzoda has paid off her Kiva loan Entrepreneur: Shahzoda Ishankulova Location: J.rasulov, Tajikistan Today I met with Shahzoda and her son at the bazaar. She told me she had just paid off her Kiva loan and expressed her thanks to those who funded it. It has allowed her to stock up on seasonal inventory for her stall where she sells women's clothing and shoes. She travels twice a week to Istaravshan in Tajikistan to replenish inventory and twice a month to Kyrgyzstan. She has 3 sons and the oldest is studying at university. Her 15-year old son was with her today and she says he's helpful in packing, unpacking and setting up her merchandise for display. Shahzoda would like to ultimately open a second location so she can increase her income. She hopes to have a Kiva loan available to her once the need arises.
