Maria Luisa Ramirez De Bardales

María belongs to the communal bank "La Familia" (The Family). She lives in Jr. Lago Titcaca 139, in Calleria district in Ucayali. She is 52-years-old. Her husband is a mechanic, and they have 4 children who are adults. They help with the business when they can. Some of them work and contribute to the family income, but it still isn't enough. This is why María decided to open a small grocery store thanks to the first loan she received from Manuela Ramos of 300 nuevos soles ($100.)

Now her grocery store is well-stocked. She sells bread, sugar, rice, eggs, toothpaste, etc. She gets up very early to do her domestic chores, then goes to attend to her store where she feels very happy conversing with her clients and providing for their needs.

With the recent loan from Manuela Ramos of 2,000 nuevos soles ($669), which will be repaid in 4 months, she purchased 3 packages of soft drinks (small and large), ice cream, 2 bags of sugar, 1 bag of rice, 2 bags of salt, 1 container of eggs, 2 boxes of milk, etc.

María Luisa told us that she feels like a very lucky woman because thanks to Manuela Ramos, she will be able to expand her business and increase her income. She will have the opportunity to accomplish some things that she had to postpone before for economic reasons, and this will give well-being to her family.

La señora Maria pertenece al Banco Comunal “La Familia”, vive en Jr. Lago Titicaca 139, del distrito Calleria, departamento de Ucayali. Tiene 52 años de edad, su esposo es mecánico y es madre de 4 hijos que ya son mayores de edad y que la ayudan en el negocio cuando les es posible. Algunos trabajan. y aportan en el hogar, pero el ingreso que tiene no alcanza, por ese motivo María decidió poner una bodega gracias al primer préstamo de Manuela Ramos de S/. 300.00 (US$100.00).

En la actualidad tiene su bodega bien surtida, donde vende pan, azúcar, arroz, huevos, pasta dental, etc. Ella se levanta muy temprano para atender los quehaceres domésticos, y después se va a atender su bodega donde se siente muy a gusto conversando con sus clientes y satisfaciendo sus necesidades.

Con el reciente préstamo recibido de Manuela Ramos de S/. 2,000 (US$ 669.00 aprox.), el cual será pagado en 4 meses, compró de 3 paquetes de bebidas gaseosas (grandes y chicas), helados, 2 sacos de azúcar, 1 saco de arroz, 2 sacos de sal, golosinas, 1 jaba de huevos, 2 cajas de leche, etc.

Maria Luisa nos dijo que se siente una mujer muy dichosa porque gracias a Manuela Ramos ella podrá ampliar su negocio e incrementara sus ingresos y tendrá oportunidad de poder realizar algunas cosas que antes estuvo postergando por motivos económicos y que le dará bienestar familiar.
