Sarah is the chairperson of the Byona Biyinzika Lending Group in the village of Nansana. She is married, 56 years old, and has 10 children and 6 dependents. She has two businesses: a poultry business and a health drug business. The health drug business consists of vitamins, nutritional supplements and products for HIV/AIDS prevention and care. She distributes the items throughout different markets. She is hoping to one day open a central depot for dispensing. She has been operating the business for four years and has been a member of her lending group for the past 9 years.

Sarah also has just begun a poultry business. She currently has 25 broilers which she raises from week-old chicks. Within approximately 2 months, they will be ready for market. Journal Entrepreneur: Sarah Kizza's Group Location: Nansana, Uganda Kizza Sarah’s drug shop business is progressing just like her lending group, Byona Biyinzika in the village of Nansana. Her other mother poultry business is also not so bad only that the chicken feeds are too expensive because of the high food prices and some how this has brought about a set back in this business. But as it goes, a high cost of living brings about high prices, Sarah has also resorted to raising the prices of her chicks; hence not being at so much a loss. She prays that the prices go back to normal because now some of her customers have resorted to something else as a sauce. She is so determined and would not let anything distract her from her work.
