Dumitru Ghidic

Dumitru loves music! He listens to many genres, artists past and present, and finds inspiration in it all. For ten years he has played the piano, a passion which he eagerly turned into a business when he began performing at events, usually doing traditional Moldovan music and Russian favorites. He sings as well and often performs duets together with his wife, also a talented singer, and his cousin. Much of the time he can be found playing at a restaurant in the center of his hometown, where weddings, baptism celebrations, birthday parties and more are frequently hosted. Dumitru hopes to learn more English to better understand the music he listens to and to begin performing some American classics. He also wants to release a CD soon, but says he will need the use of editing tools or services. Right now Dumitru needs better equipment, primarily a mixer to increase the quality of his live performances and thereby ensure that he will continue to be in high demand for special occasions.
