Mrs. Sem Voeun, 52, is a widow who lives with three of her six children in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia.

On Nov 2007, she took out a loan of US$1000 to expand her inventory by adding more products to satisfy the growing demands of her customers. She has been very pleased with the results of her investment and can see her business growing forward. She said she also got support from three of her children who employed at garment factory. Currently, she has much stuff which can attract many customers each day. So far, she can make up to US$8 in revenue a day. In the future, she wants a bigger stand as right now her stand still small and can store not much stuff for sale.

Again, she states that the loan is very useful as it is provide a chance to all poor entrepreneurs to start and sustain their businesses. Finally, she would like to say thanks to all lenders for interest helping Cambodian entrepreneurs like her family.
