Mrs. Doria Velazquez lives in San Estanislao city, in the neighborhood Barrio 8 de Diciembre. She is 40 years old, married to 39 year old Fermín. They have 5 children - 3 boys and 2 girls, all are in school, two are still in elementary and the other three are in secondary school.

Doria has a well stocked store in her home, where she sells primarily basic necessities such as bread, milk, sugar, noodles, fruit, vegetables, canned goods, etc. Her husband has been selling sausages (cold cuts, bologna, sausage, etc.) in the city market for the past three years. Both businesses are going well and generate good income.

Doria wishes for a loan to buy more merchandise for the store, as customer demand increases considerably at the end of the year and she wants to be prepared to meet the needs of her customers.
