Luh Wiryawati has a husband whose name is I Made Nama Yasa who works as a building laborer. As a laborer income is not constant, since he only get paid when work was there, and no income if no work. However live continues, and needs daily cost. To help her husband, Wiryawati decides to start pig farming, since this business could be done while taking care of children and house. With an initial capital of Rp 1,000,000 (about US$105) Wiryawati bought 1 mother pig that she raised for 6 months. After 6 months, the mother pig gave birth to 6 piglets; after raising these piglets for another 2 months, those piglets were sold at Rp250,000 (about US$26)/piglet. Profit was used to pay for schooling expenses for her 2 children who are still in Grade school, and also to cover family needs. Now with capital help from Dinari, Wiryawati could add the mother pig, and fattening piglets. With the hope that expected profit could increase family well being.
