Sra. Victoria belongs to the Juan Pablo II ("John Paul II") community bank. She lives in the Peruvian "provincia" of Huaraz. She's an environmental engineer and works for MINSA ("Ministerio de Salud" or the Peruvian Ministry of Health). She has a business making and selling yogurt. She started making yogurt for her family, then for friends and neighbors. They used to tell her that her product was very pleasant and natural. She now fills a weekly order from Lima for 20 litres of yogurt in additional to local orders. With this business, she was able to win a grant to pursue her master's degree, something that she's now doing. She's organized herself so that she can study, work and still find time to make her yogurt.

With a recently-granted loan from Manuela Ramos of S/.1,000 (1,000 Peruvian soles or about US$332), to be repaid in 6 installments, she's purchased supplies of skimmed milk and a thousand cups. Part of the loan will be used to buy 20 litres of milk (twice a week).

At 42 years old, with four children, this lady is following a dream to expand her business and identify new markets, to increase her income and educate her children, the oldest of whom is studying medicine at the University of Trujillo. She, the daughter, is an example for her family and friends. Thanks to her dedication and efforts, she's fulfilling her goals.

La señora Victoria pertenece al Banco Comunal Juan Pablo II, vive en el distrito de Huaraz, Provincia Huaraz. Es Ingeniera del Ambiente y trabaja en el MINSA, tiene el negocio de preparación y venta de yogurt, se inició preparando yogurt para consumo de su familia, empezó ofreciendo a sus amistades y vecinas, sus clientes le decían que su producto era muy agradable y natural. En la actualidad atiende pedidos locales y 20 litros semanales para la ciudad de Lima. Con este negocio ha sido ganadora de una beca para hacer su maestría y a la fecha esta estudiando dicha maestría. Se organiza para estudiar, trabajar y elaborar su yogurt.

Con el préstamo recientemente obtenido de Manuela Ramos de S/ 1,000.00 soles ($332), que será pagado en 6 cuotas, ha comprado un saco de leche descremada y un millar de vasijas. Parte de este dinero será para la compra de 20 litros de leche (dos veces en la semana).

A sus 42 años y con cuatro hijos, la señora continua con el sueño de seguir ampliando su negocio y buscar nuevos mercados, para incrementar sus ingresos y educar a sus hijos, la mayor de sus hijas estudia medicina en la Universidad de Trujillo. Es un ejemplo de vida para su familia y amistades, gracias a su dedicación y esfuerzo esta logrando sus metas.
