Nidia Pereira

Her husband is a fisherman. Nidia works together with him and sells fish. They've had this business for 14 years and so far, it has done well. They started with a boat where Cresencio went fishing and Nidia traveled to different homes and businesses to sell th fish. They started to make some progress little by little and today, they have a larger boat as well as a permanent fish stand in the market of their municipality. In addition, Nidia owns a mobile stand that she bought in a fair which she uses to travel to various cities to exhibit and sell different products.

These are the different types of fish they sell: tiger catfish, dolphin fish, pacu, as well as others. Nidia seeks a loan to buy a wide variety of fish at wholesale prices since there is a high demand for them at this time of the year.

Su marido es pescador y junto con él, Nidia, se dedica a la venta de pescados. Hace ya 14 años que tienen el negocio, y cuentan que les va muy bien. Empezaron con un bote, con el cual Cresencio iba a pescar y luego Nidia recorría casas y negocios para vender los pescados. Poco a poco fueron progresando y hoy día ya tienen una lancha más grande, y ya tienen un puesto fijo de venta en el mercado municipal de la ciudad. Además de este puesto de venta, Nidia, posee un puesto propio adquirido en una feria que recorre diferentes ciudades exponiendo diferentes tipos de productos.

Entre los diferentes tipos de pescados que venden podemos citar: Surubí, Dorado, Pacu, Piraña, Mandi´i, entre otros. Nidia solicita el crédito para comprar mayor cantidad y variedad de pescado, ya que en esta época del año la demanda de los mismos aumenta considerablemente.
