Mrs. Lilia is twenty-nine years old and has completed her primary education. She has no children, lives in Caserío Canchachugo, a town in the Usquil district of the department of La Libertad, and is a member of the communal bank, “Canchachugo.” Mrs. Lilia runs her business out of her home where she sells groceries, drinks, motor oil, grains, and so on, but she also travels to sell her products at nearby markets. She began her business with an initial credit of S/.300 ( approx. $100) that she obtained in her communal bank. With this loan from Manuela Ramos of S/.2,000.00, which will be paid back in four months, she will purchase rice, sugar, preserves, candles, and more to stock her store, and also grains wholesale to sell in markets. Mrs. Lilia dreams of going to live on the coast of Trujillo and opening a large business there, where there are more opportunities.

La señora Lilia tiene 29 años, su grado de instrucción es primaria completa, aún no tiene hijos; ella vive en el Caserío Canchachugo en el Distrito de Usquil departamento de La Libertad, pertenece al Banco Comunal “Canchachugo”.
La señora Lilia tiene su negocio en su propia casa vende abarrotes, lubricantes para motos, bebidas, cereales, etc, pero además viaja a vender sus productos en las ferias cercanas a su comunidad.
Ella inició su negocio con su primer crédito de S/. 300 ($ 100) que obtuvo en su bancos comunal.
Con el reciente crédito recibido de Manuela Ramos de S/. 2,000.00 ($ 664) el cual será cancelado en 4 meses, compró arroz, azúcar, conservas, velas, etc. Para surtir su bodega y además compró cereales al por mayor para llevar a vender en las ferias.
La señora Lilia sueño con ir a vivir en la costa (Trujillo) y poner allí un gran negocio considera que en esa ciudad se tiene mayores oportunidades.
