About 60 kilometeters from the city of Juliaca, there is a small village of Pukara, a place made famoous by their beautiful works in ceramic made by the industrious villagers. Florencia is no stranger to this fine art, her whole family is well known for their excellence in their crafts (coin banks and decorations), always having large numbers of orders. She starts work tirelessly every day of the week from 5:30 a.m. to 11p.m., always with the unconditional support of her husband, Faustino, who also works as a teacher in the school in Pukara. They both struggle and work hard with one goal in mind, to provide their two dear children with higher education, who have followed their parents' example and who are a constant source of pride and satisfaction. For now Florencia's wish is acquire more raw material (clay, gypsum, paint and lumber), to continue working in their beautiful work, and to fill the great number of orders that are placed. 'This noble mother hopes to have our support to continue on with her daily work, done with great talent and great love.'
