Angela Paima Apuela

Sra. Angela belongs to the Sol Naciente ("Rising Sun") community bank in the Peruvian "departamento" of Ucayali. She is 36 years old and the mother of 3 children. Her husband is a cab driver but his earnings don't cover the family's basic needs so Angela decided, with her first loan from Manuela Ramos, to set up a small foodstand. She now earns a living from the business which she tends together with her children. She counts on her husband's support to help with the children and to take them to a nearby school.

With a recently-granted loan from Manuela Ramos of S/.1,000 (1,000 Peruvian soles or about US$333), to be repaid in 6 months, she will expand her business and buy bulk supplies of rice, chicken, cooking oil and a variety of green vegetables to make the food she sells.

Angela is happy to have the support of her husband, given that the children need a lot of attention.

La señora Angela pertenece al Banco Comunal Sol Naciente, del Jr. Argentina Mz E Lt 12 Del A. H. Indoamerica del Distrito de Calleria del Departamento de Ucayali. Tiene 36 años y es madre de 3 hijos, su esposo es taxista de motocar, pero lo que gana no alcanza para las necesidades básicas del hogar, es así que Angela, con el primer préstamo de Manuela Ramos decide poner un pequeño puesto de venta de comida al paso. En la actualidad cuenta con un pequeño espacio para vender comida al paso, la misma que atiende junto a sus hijos, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo para atender a los niños y llevarlos a la escuela más cercana.

Con el reciente préstamo recibido de Manuela Ramos de S/. 1,000 (US$ 333.00 aprox.), el cual será pagado en 6 meses, ampliará el local de su negocio y comprará 10 kilos de arroz, 5 pollos, 5 litros de aceite y verduras variadas para preparar la comida.

Angela esta muy contenta de tener el apoyo de su esposo dado que los niños necesitan mucha atención.
