Leocadia Lola Cantu Mallqui

Mrs. Leocadia is part of the Communcal Bank Manuela Ramos of Tinco, and is dedicated to selling flowers. She began this shop selling flowers in Huaraz, and expanded it with more varieties of flowers, which led to her traveling to Lima for more sales. Today she has stores in the city of Huaraz, the Department of Ancash and another one in Lima. She takes flowers from Huaraz to Lima and while there, purchases other varieties of flowers that she then sells in Huaraz.

With the recent loan awared by Manueal Ramos of S/. 2,500.00, which will be repaid over 6 months, she purchased dozens of flowers of many varietes in order to sell them during the month of november in the fiesta of "Todos los Santos" (All Saints Day).

Her dream is to have her own space in Huaraz or in Lima, in order for her to be able to be more established and travel less.

She is 48 years old, married, and has 4 children. Her profits allow her to support her husband in educating their children. Two of her children are at the University in Lima, one is in Carhuaz and is a technician in a hospital, and the other one has an incurable disease. Mr. Leocadia has resigned herself to taking care of him and continues to work in order to provide more for her sick son.

La señora Leocadia, pertenece al Banco Comunal Manuela Ramos de Tinco, se dedica a la venta de flores, inició su negocio vendiendo flores en Huaraz, fue ampliando su negocio con mas variedades y comenzó a viajar a la ciudad de Lima, ahora tiene dos puestos en la ciudad de Huaraz, Departamento de Ancash y otro en Lima. Lleva flores de Huaraz a Lima y estando allí compra otras variedades de flores y las vende en las florerías de Huaraz.

Con el reciente préstamo otorgado por Manuela Ramos de S/. 2,500.00 el cual será cancelado en 6 cuotas, ha comprado flores por docenas de las diferentes variedades para venderlas en el mes de noviembre en la fiesta de “Todos los Santos”.

Su deseo es tener un local propio en Huaraz o en Lima, para que pueda tener mayor estabilidad y viajar menos.

Ella tiene 48 años, está casada y tiene 4 hijos. Sus ingresos le permite apoyar a su esposo en la educación de sus hijos. Dos de ellos están en la Universidad en Lima, una está en Carhuaz y es Técnica en enfermería y el otro tiene una enfermedad incurable, la señora Leocadia se ha resignado a ello y seguirá trabajando para apoyar mas a su hijo enfermo.
