Elvira Azucena Castillo

Elvira has had her own salon for around 37 years. It's located in a local market in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. Elvira struggled to start her business with only two chairs and a mirror. Since opening it, she has dedicated body and soul to the salon, and that dedication has made it one of the best in the market. Elvira is married with six children and five grandchildren, and is very happy to have successfully grown her business on her own and with the help of CEPRODEL, a micro-loan institution she has worked with for approximately three years.

Negocio propio tiene de existir alrededor de 37 años. Está ubicado en el Mercado Iván Montenegro de la ciudad de Managua.

Doña Elvira empezo su negocio apenas con dos sillas y un espejo. Desde sus inicion se dedico a su negocio en cuerpo y alma, y esta dedicacion la que la llevo a destacarse entre los mejores salones del mercado.Casada, con siete hijos y cinco nietos se siente muy dichosa de haber logrado crecer con su propio esfuerzo y la ayuda de CEPRODEL, institucion con la que trabaja desde hace aproximadamente 3 años.
