Journal Update.

Entrepreneur: Pheng Sreng
Location: Prey Veng Province, Cambodia

Pheng Sreng is a widow and lives with two of her children and her younger brother at Prey Veng province, Cambodia. Before, she has business selling rice and foods in front of garment factory but because of this works is too hard and makes less profit to support the family she decided to switch to another one, selling grocery. Selling foods make her busy, for example, woke up early and cooked so many foods to sacrifice her customer.

Regarding to a loan, she had used this money to purchase a motorbike for her younger brother to runs a moto-taxi. On average, he earns around $4 per day. Mrs. Pheng Sreng has no problems paying back a loan to Credit MFI and in the future she wants to expand her store, selling grocery.

I, Kiva coordinator, Vichet Ouch, would like to say thanks to all lenders for interest helping Cambodian entrepreneurs like Pheng Sreng and sustain her business.
