Laurentine Irie Lou has a stand at the Attecoube Market in Abidjan. She sells smoked meat, mostly beef and pork. She is a member of a group loan, and not an individual loan. Her portion of the loan is 115,000 CFA, which she received on 2/2/08. So far the group is working well together, and the payments have been on time. She invested the money to purchase beef tail, an extremely popular delicacy in Cote d’Ivoire, and integral ingredient in many good sauces and soups.
