Muteesasira Robinah sells electricals; a business she has had for 12 years. She has been with her lending group for 7 years and the loan of $900 that she took helped her to pay school fees for her children and the balance was put into her business. With the help of loans, she has been able to expand her business since her stock has tremendously increased. Her husband has a stationary shop in Town and together they are able to make enough profits to take care of their family and paying school fees for their 4 school going children. She says she likes the idea of getting loans because once she is to pay weekly in her group, she can never become lazy and that is why she has survived for all those years in business.

Robina used her loan of 1.5 million USHs to purchase more electrical materials to sell in her shop. She says that loans help her to buy items in bulk and thus she can make larger profits.

Robina says that people use her shop to purchase their electrical materials primarily because she provides excellent customer service. Because of the competitive nature of her business, she makes a constant effort to really reach out to any potential customers. She inherited her business from her aunt who had made many relationships with customers. When Robina and her husband took over it was important to them to try to build up relationships of their own.

Robina says that some day she would like to build houses to rent to others in her community. She would also like to buy a plot of her own as right now she just rents her home.
