I am Kalsoom Bibi from Lahore, a large metropolis in Pakistan. I am married and the mother of six: two daughters and four sons. I have been sewing clothes on order from my neighborhood clientele for the last ten years. My husband is a rickshaw driver. He used to drive a rented rickshaw, but last year he bought a rickshaw with the loan we took from Asasah, a microfinance institution. The income rose significantly and we repaid the installments on time. I also managed to send my younger kids to school. Now my eldest son has also learned how to drive a rickshaw, and he wants to help us with our daily household expenses. Please lend me US$500 to buy my son a rickshaw.
